Figure 9 in Cytosystematics of the Simulium tuberosum group (Diptera: Simuliidae) in Thailand

Description

Figure 9. IIIL arm of Simulium doipuiense A. Sections are numbered according to the Simulium subgeneric IIIL standard of Adler & Kachvorian (2001) and reflect the presence of three fixed inversions: IIIL-1, IIIL-11, and IIIL-13. Fixed inversions are underlined on the map; floating inversions are not. Breakpoints are indicated for inversions IIIL-8 of S. rufibasis and IIIL-14 of Unknown species 1. Inversion IIIL-4 is linked to the X chromosome in S. doipuiense B. C = centromere, CS = cup and saucer marker, NO = nucleolar organizer.
