Fig. 21. Ratio diagram illustrating some proportional relationships in cranial and dental dimensions between samples of adult Leptomys. The standard is the AMNH sample of L. ernstmayri from the Huon Peninsula (N 5 11) contrasted with the AMNH sample of L. paulus from Mount Dayman (N 53). How the diagram was constructed and how to read it is explained in Materials and Procedures.
