Description

Fig. 19. Part of the Lagunilla del Carmen looking southeastward on July 8, 1964. The various pools and puddles were kept filled by the overflow from a large spring on a hillside near El Carmen, Tlaxcala. Domestic stock wandered about freely. Thamnophis eques carmenensis and a frog of the Rana pipiens complex were abundant in many parts of the watery landscape.
