Description

Genus Creagonycha Kethley

Creagonycha Kethley, 1970: 34. Type-species: Creagonycha lara Kethley, 1970, by original designation.

Type material. Holotype female at UGA, paratypes: females, males at UGA. Hosts and distribution. Larus delawarensis (type host) (Charadriiformes: Laridae), type-locality: USA, Georgia, Chatham Co., Coffee Bluff (Kethley 1970).

Habitat. Secondary, covert feathers.

Type material. Holotype female, paratypes: females, males at author’s collection. Hosts and distribution. Sternula albifrons (type host) (Charadriiformes: Laridae), type-locality: UKRAINE, Odessa Prov., Tiligulski liman (Kivganov & Sharafat 1995).

Habitat. Primary feathers.

Type material. Holotype female at LAP.

Tringa totanus (type host) (Charadriiformes: Scolopacidae), type-locality: FRANCE (Oudemans 1904); T. glareola (Scolopacidae), POLAND, Slonsk, (AMU, ZSM, ZISP) (Skoracki et al. 2006); Calidris minuta (Scolopacidae), KAZAKHSTAN, (ZISP) (Bochkov & Mironov 1998), POLAND, Slonsk, (AMU) (Skoracki et al. 2006); Calidris alba (Scolopacidae), TOGO, (MRAC, AMU) (Skoracki & Dabert 2002); C. temminckii (Scolopacidae), POLAND, Slonsk, (AMU, ZSM, ZISP) (Skoracki et al. 2006); C. himantopus (Scolopacidae), CANADA, Manitoba, (AMU, ZISP, ZSM, UMMZ) (Skoracki et al. 2006). Habitat. Unknown.
