Description

Crambus hamellus (Thunberg, 1794)

Material examined: 1♀, Zhytomyr reg., Korosten distr., 3.7 km NE Luibovychi, Halove Swamp, at light, 2.IX.2017 (S. Trotsenko) (ST).

Distribution: N and C Europe, France, Italy and from E Europe to Japan (Slamka 2008); Russia: Kaliningrad, Murmansk regions, Karelia, European part, Middle Volga region, S Urals, Tyva Republic, Buryatia, Zabaykalsky krai, Far East (Sinev & Streltsov 2019); Ukraine: Sumy (Govorun 2003b; 2009) and Lviv (Klemensiewicz 1898, 1901; St ӧckl 1936) regions, first record for Zhytomyr region.
