Description

Brooksia rostrata

Morphology

Solitary zooids measure up to 31 mm without the anterior projection. MI and intermediate muscle are contiguous or fused with MII and MIII in the mid-dorsal line (authors’ personal observations; Marine Species Identification Portal 2017).

Biogeography

Recorded in the Red Sea, Indo-West Pacific, and the Tropical Atlantic and North Atlantic Ocean (WoRMS Editorial Board 2017).
