Bosco Caffarella, un progetto educativo ambientale tra natura, città e storia

Bosco Caffarella is an environmental educational project, recently referred to in the Lazio Region as experimental outdoor education since August 2020. Since 2016, girls and boys aged 3 to 6 have grown up in contact with nature. The Caffarella park is located within the city of Rome, a green lung of 135 hectares surrounded by very populous neighborhoods. Projects like this offer us a chance to renovate the public school, especially in such a difficult time due to the pandemic in progress. Retracing and enhancing forgotten pedagogical experiences allow us to recover rich and still current good practices, starting from the real needs of girls and boys, such as the need for contact with nature.
