United States: AK (Scudder 1997, Maw et al. 2000), CA, CO, CT, IA, ID (Harris & Shull 1944, Rider 1990), IL, IN (Blatchley 1926, Rider 1990), MA, ME, MI, MN, MO (Sites et al. 2012), MT (Rider 1990), NC, ND (Hussey 1922, Weber 1935, Rider 2012), NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV (Rider 1990), NY, OH, OR (Rider 1990), PA, SD (Parshley 1922, Harris 1937, Rider 1990), UT, VT (Rider 1990), WA (Rider 1990, Zack et al. 2012), WI, WY (Rider 1990).

Comments: Froeschner (1988) listed Neottiglossa californica Bliven as a separate species; it was later placed as a junior synonym of this species (Rider 1990). This species was also recorded from Oregon in an unpublished thesis (Wetherill 2000).
