Description

Neottiglossa trilineata (Kirby, 1837)

Distribution: Canada: AB, BC, MB, NB (Walker 1872), NF (Maw et al. 2000, Roch 2020), NS, NT (Uhler 1877, Walley 1929, Rider 1990), ON (Rider 1990, Paiero et al. 2013, Roch 2020), QC, SK, YK (Scudder 1997). United States: AK (Scudder 1997), CA, CO, ID (Rider 1990), MI, ND (see comments below), NE, NY (Kirby 1837), OR (Rider 1990), WA (Lattin 1997), WY (Rider 1990).

Comments: Uhler’s (1877) “Dakota” record (repeated by several other workers) probably originated from North Dakota (see Rider 2012 for an explanation).
