Luciliinae

Description

Subfamily Luciliinae

There are five genera in the Luciliinae worldwide, including Blepharicnema Macquart, 1844; Dyscritomyia Grimshaw, 1901; Hemipyrellia Townsend, 1918; Hypopygiopsis Townsend, 1916a and Lucilia but only two, Lucilia and Blepharicnema are found in the New World.
