Prezentacja tematyki wybranych zajęć terenowych na obszarze rezerwatu przyrody "Dolina Żabnika" (Edukacja na rzecz zrównoważonego rozwoju i ochrony środowiska)

In the present paper the authors indicate the requirement of comprehension of phenomena complexity occurring in nature is close contact with the sites where those phenomena take place i. e. conditions in the field. In this connection, syllabus in specialization of studies - biology in Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection, according to guiding rules, include them. Direct contact with animated nature is especially significant both in natural areas (woodland and srub communities), semi-natural areas (e. g. meadows) as well as in communities formed due to human activity (post-industrial wastelands, manmade plant communities etc.). Essential problem in the territory of Upper Silesia is an impact of exploitation of natural resources on valuable natural areas.
