Material examined. Holotype NHM UK 2013.1125, Stn 195: Pacific, Western Central (Banda Sea); 2606 m. Supplementary description. Jones (1992), including appendages description. Distribution. Pacific, Central and Southwest. Known depth range 788 to 2745 m. Remarks. The species shares many similar features with the Arcoscalpellum michelottianum group of scalpellids according to Newman & Ross (1971: 60).
