Remarks: This characteristic species is very common in the Eastern Palaearctic and is distributed from Archangelsk District (Babenko 2008) to the Far East of Russia (Martynova 1969 a, 1977) but never previously recorded in Nearctic. Its occurrence in eastern Canada needs further confirmation.
General distribution: Nearctic (?) and Eastern Palaearctic.
