Remarks: This species is in the Mesaphorura genus on www. collembola.org, but its high similarity to T. arctica, T. bella and some other members of the “Nordic group” of Tullbergia sensu Fjellberg (1998) mean this inclusion is probably erroneous (see also Dunger & Schlitt 2011).

General distribution: Holarctic.
