Distribution. Canada and USA.

Hosts. Sorex tundrensis. Other hosts. Lagomorpha: Lepus americanus. Rodentia: Clethrionomys rutilus, Microtus oeconomus, Microtus sp., and Tamiasciurus hudsonicus (Hopkins & Rothschild, 1971; Lakkonen et al., 2002).
