Symbology as the Issue of Epistemology and Method Science

Rezumat

În prezentul articol, se face o încercare de promovare motivată a unei ştiinţe noi – simbologia. Unele aspecte ale acestei ştiinţe au devenit deja obiecte de cercetare ale hermeneuticii care, prin cea de a doua direcţie a sa, mai îngustă, a supus simbolul diferitelor interpretări. Prin separarea şi autonomizarea ştiinţei simbologice, ar fi posibil ca simbolul să devină un obiect de studiu sui generis, prezent în cadrul a două compartimente epistemologice: 1) simbolica generală care se ocupă de studierea mecanismului de simbolizare şi 2) simbolismul care ia în vizor studiul valorilor semantico-funcţionale ale simbolului în variate tipuri de imaginar uman (mitologic, biblic, literar, poetic, folcloric, individual etc.).

Abstract

This article represents a motivated attempt to promote a new science – the symbology. Different aspects of the symbology have already been inserted in the problematic area of the hermeneutic science which, in its second research direction, proposes various interpretative approaches of the symbol. The separation and the empowerment of the symbology science allows the symbol to become an object of study sui generis, investigated within two epistemological compartments: the general symbolic which will study the mechanism of symbolization and the symbolism - the study of semantic and functional values of symbol in various kinds of human imaginary (mythological, biblical, literary, poetic, individual, etc.).
