Psychological approach to the problem of personality tipology

The article analyses the traditional approaches to the problem of construction of a psychological personality typology. Discussed the main advantages and disadvantages of typological approach and the limits of its use in psychology as such. The original allocation system of psychological types based on four fundamental, from the point of view of the author, the aspirations of man. The characteristic allocated on this basis, the 24 theoretically possible personality types. They are aligned to some existing common and popular psychological typologies.
