Type locality: Bodegraven (Netherlands, neotype).

Type host: Unknown.

Material. N1 ex Myotis dasycneme (Boie, 1825) from biological station “Lukashino”, 13 July 2018, leg. O.L. Orlov, M. V. Orlova.

Distribution in Russian Federation: Leningrad Province (as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Zemskaya, 1966), Penza Province (as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Stanyukovich, 1997), Kirov Province (as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Zemskaya, 1966), North Osetia (as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Stanyukovich, 1997), Sverdlovsk Province (as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Orlova & Orlov, 2011), Altai Region (as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Marchenko, 2007), Khakassia Republic (Orlova et al., 2017a), Buryatia Republic (Orlova et al., 2016).

Distribution outside Russian Federation: Europe (Great Britain— Evans & Till, 1966, Spain— Quetglas, 2016, etc.), Asia (Georgia: as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Stanyukovich, 1997), Central America (as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Villegas-Guzman et al., 2005).
