PENGGUNAAN SLAG NIKEL DALAM PEMBUATAN PAVING BLOCK
Description
This study aims to determine the amount of nickel slag in paving blocks, compressive strength, and water absorption. The benefits are to reduce environmental pollution and the use of sand and cement. Paving blocks are made from a mixture of cement, fine aggregate (sand and nickel slag), and water. The test specimens (21c10.5x8 cm) have a composition of 1:3, 1:4, and 1:5 (volume ratio), and slag level of 0%, 25%, 75%, and 100% against the sand. The results show that most of the specimens meet the required size. Nickel slag can increase compressive strength, where the slag level of 75% and 100% enter the quality and can reduce water absorption.
