FIGURE 1. Sensory papillae lines and head pores of Glossogobius giuris based on AMS I.20403-006, 106 mm SL male from the Drysdale River, Western Australia. Lines are numbered following Akihito & Meguro (1975). Pores abbreviations are PNP— posterior nasal pores, AIO—anterior interorbital pore, PIO—posterior interorbital pore, PO—postorbital pore, IFO—infraorbital pore, LC—lateral canal pore above preoperculum, TLC—terminal lateral canal pore, LCT—lateral canal tube detached from main lateral canal.
