Probabilistic model for the estimation of the consumer exposure to ESBL-/AmpC-producing E. coli due to cross-contamination and recontamination
Description
A probabilistic model capable of predicting whether or not a transfer of ESBL-/AmpC-producing E. coli takes place and the amount of ESBL-/AmpC-producing E. coli transferred to bread and grilled chicken in case the raw chicken meat is contaminated. It contributes to the quantification of consumer exposure to ESBL-/AmpC-producing E. coli through food consumption once contaminated food has entered the household kitchen. It is based on a model previously developed for MRSA (http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4713653).
