Meridional Wind Measurement by the University of Colorado's Antarctic meteor radar

The University of Colorado's Antarctic meteor radar uses radio reflections from meteor trails to estimate the prevailing mesospheric and lower thermospheric winds over McMurdo Station, Antarctica.
