Based on Protein Interaction Network to Explore the Mechanism of Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder "Different Diseases with the Same Treatment" Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and Depression
Description
In this study ,we try to use the network pharmacology method to predict the hub targets of DZXYP in treating PCOS and depression and reveal its action mechanism, hoping to facilitated the theory and clinical application of "Treating different Diseases with the Same Method".
1 Sceening of Potential Active Compounds and Targets
We used TCMSP (http://tcmspw.com/tcmsp.php) database platform and UniProt database (https://www.uniprot.org) to sceening of potential active compounds and targets.
2 Construct the Network of "Herb-Compound-Target"
The above mentioned active ingredients and targets were entered into Cytoscape(version 3.7.2) software to construct a network.
3 Prediction of Disease Targets and Acquisition of Overlapping Targets
Using MalaCards disease database and Venn (https://bioinfogp.cnb.csic.es/tools/venny/) online platform to get the overlapping targets of PCOS and depression.
4 Construction of PPI and Extraction of hub Targets
With the help of Cytoscape-BisoGenet plug-in and Cytoscape-NCA plug-in to select the hub targets of DZXYP in treating PCOS and depression.
5 Organ and Tissue Localization of hub Targets
Using BioGPS database (http://biogps.org/#goto=welcome), the hub targets of DZXYP in treating PCOS and depression were located in organs, tissues and cells.
6 GO and KEGG Enrichment Analysis
We import the above hub targets into Metascape database (https://metascape.org) to perform GO and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis.
