Description

The outbreak of the Sars-CoV-2 in 2020, forced all to social distancing, and schools in Brazil had to stop operating. These institutions started considering possibilities on how to continue functioning, which led them to deploy distance learning. The main agents in this process, the teachers, had to go through training to continuing teaching in a remote way. Some of them adapted easily, whereas others reported difficulties dealing with the use of technology for their lessons. This paper presents a survey done with 161 teachers from different Brazilian regions, that clarify the main challenges and motivations with these technical issues. As result, in spite of all challenges, they looked for ways to achieve their school's demands as well as accomplish their roles.
