  • ACKNOWLEDGMENTS. Preparation of the Australian Drosophilidae Checklist supported by Australian Biological Resources Survey (ABRS) led to the discovery of synonymy of dispar and setifemur. Extensive collecting in the Sydney region for the Australian Museum Pilot GIS Survey in 1991 was supported by an Australian Museum Visiting Scientist Research Fellowship for which I am most grateful.
