Description

Plasmid and E. coli DNA fragmentation by a Compound Parabolic Concentrator using artificial solar light, and Ames test assessment of carryover mutagenicity. Temperature, pressure and gel electrophoresis mapping mechanistic processes of molecular damage (ionization, secondary Low Energy Electrons and oxidation, vibrational energy, blue light) are discussed.
