Description

Obelia longissima (Pallas, 1766)

Material examined. Stn. RAS — 11.02.2010, Ant.06/2010 (15–20 m): numerous stems, up to 8 cm high, rare gonothecae, on seaweed (MHNG-INVE-79786).

Geographical distribution. Widely-spread species, whose Antarctic distribution was summarized by Peña Cantero (2008).
