Aprostocetus sp.

New record. Colombia, Valle del Cauca, Vijes, 22.iii. 2017, 03°42′18″N, 076°25′48″W, collected by hand, L.M. Martinez, D.N. Duque, E. Aguirre, 4 specimens. (MUSENUV: 28976).

Identification. 1.8–2.0 mm. Body entirely metallic green. Mouth parts yellow. Antennae dark yellow, with 3 anulli, 3 funicular segments, and a 3-segmented club. Forewing as long as body. Submarginal vein shorter than a very long marginal vein. Post marginal vein short. Stigma and stigmal vein thin.
