Description

Ixodes eudyptidis Maskell, 1885

Seabirds: Eudyptes pachyrhynchus, Megadyptes antipodes, Eudyptula minor, Diomedea sanfordi, Thalassarche bulleri platei, Thalassarche eremita, Pterodroma solandri, Pterodroma lessonii, Pterodroma cookii, Pachyptila turtur, Pelecanoides urinatrix urinatrix, Pelecanoides urinatrix chathamensis, Morus serrator, Phalacrocorax carbo novaehollandiae, Stictocarbo punctatus punctatus, Platalea regia, Larus dominicanus, Larus novaehollandiae scopulinus, Hydroprogne caspia, Chlidonias hybridus.

Land bird: Anas sp.

Mammal: Mus musculus (experimental).

Distribution

World: Tasmania, Bass Strait islands, New South Wales, Western Australia (Roberts 1970).

New Zealand: North and South Islands, Stewart Island, Chatham and Snares Islands.
