Scholarly communication: An introduction. From the traditional paradigm to Open Science

Description

This lesson is part of the "Scholarly communication. Open Science and Research Data Management" course (10 hrs) organized at Scuola Sant'Anna of Pisa in 2021.

 

The training course has been tailored to the PhD students in Human Rights and Global Politics, and consists of the following 4 modules:

Module 1 (2nd March 2021): Scholarly communication: an introduction. From the traditional paradigm to Open Science

Module 2 (5th March 2021): The Open Access publishing paradigm and FAIR (Open) Data

Module 3 (8th March 2021): Research Data Management and Data Management Plans

Module 4 (11th March 2021): Research Infrastructures, the EOSC, OS skills and training, Science evaluation and OS workflows 

 

The course covers all modern aspects of Open Science (Publications, Open Data, FAIR principles, Data Management Plan, etc.) and provides with the tools and standards required to embed Open Science in the research workflow.
