Description

Photometric variability at different wavelengths provide insights into the vertical cloud structure of brown dwarfs and planetary-mass objects.
We obtained time-resolved spectroscopy in the J-band of the planetary-mass L3 dwarf 2MASS J22081363+2921215, analog to the  AB Pic b planet, obtaining a variability amplitude of 3.23%. We find that the variability of object is enhanced in the KI and Na I alkali lines.
Using radiative-transfer models, we derived the different cloud layers that might be introducing the spectro-photometric variability we observe for 2MASS J22081363+2921215.
