Description

These data are observed and synthetic RAW waveforms used to constrain seismic anelastic attenuation (Q factor) of the Greenland Ice Sheet (Toyokuni, Komatsu, & Takenaka, 2021, JGR).

### Observed waveforms ###
./OBS: Folder containing observed waveforms
./OBS/years_(station1)_(station2).dat:
A 4.5-year averaged noise-correlated waveform propagated between (station1) and (station2). (station1) is the reference station and (station2) is the accompanying station for which the complex conjugate of the data was taken for calculations of the cross-correlation function.

The format of the observed waveforms is as follows:
[Lagtime (s)] [Amplitude]

Please see Toyokuni et al. (2018) for details.

### Synthetic waveforms ###
./SYN: Folder containing synthetic waveforms
./SYN/Region1_QP10-QS10: Folder for Region1 and (Qp,Qs)=(10,10)
./SYN/Region1_QP20-QS20: Folder for Region1 and (Qp,Qs)=(20,20)
./SYN/Region1_QP40-QS20: Folder for Region1 and (Qp,Qs)=(40,20)
./SYN/Region1_QP50-QS50: Folder for Region1 and (Qp,Qs)=(50,50)
./SYN/Region1_QP350-QS175: Folder for Region1 and (Qp,Qs)=(350,175)
./SYN/Region2_QP10-QS10: Folder for Region2 and (Qp,Qs)=(10,10)
./SYN/Region2_QP20-QS20: Folder for Region2 and (Qp,Qs)=(20,20)
./SYN/Region2_QP40-QS20: Folder for Region2 and (Qp,Qs)=(40,20)
./SYN/Region2_QP50-QS50: Folder for Region2 and (Qp,Qs)=(50,50)
./SYN/Region2_QP350-QS175: Folder for Region2 and (Qp,Qs)=(350,175)
./SYN/Region3_QP20-QS20: Folder for Region3 and (Qp,Qs)=(20,20)

The file name means the following:
(Excitation point)-(Observation point).dat

The format of the synthetic waveforms is as follows:
[Time (s)] [X (north is positive) component] [Y (east is positive) component] [Z (vertically downward) component]

In the current research, we inverted the sign of the amplitudes in the 4th column to compare with observed waveforms.

We hope it is useful to you.

Kind wishes,
