Description
This repository contains data collected as part of a post-Hurricane Sandy assessment of the Assateague Island National Seashore in 2014-2015 (see also Pendleton et al., 2016). The data is composed of hydrodynamic measurements collected with a Teledyne RDI Workhorse Sentinel 600 kHz acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP) and time-lapse sonar imagery of the seabed collected with an Imagenex 881 2.25MHz Tilt-head fanbeam rotary sonar (RS). The dataset shows time-evolving bedform dynamics and bioturbation in a sorted bedform before and after Hurricane Joaquin (2015).
