Authorship Credit For Publications in Pakistan

Authorship credit is very important for research publications. All the authors are credited based upon their contributions to research project. International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICJME) has issued guidelines on authorship credit. Previously, Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) was equally crediting first six authors in any paper. Now Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) has directed all journals to follow the guidelines of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
