Description
SMVI (Soil Moisture Volatility Index) is a novel approach of quantifying and detecting flash droughts based on an idea inspired from the stock market running averages. This dataset is a collection of SMVI and other flash drought definitions used in this study: "Flash drought onset over the Contiguous United States: Sensitivity of inventories and trends to quantitative definitions" by Mahmoud Osman et al.
