Hylaeus (Nesoprosopis) transversalis Cockerell 1924

Hylaeus transversalis Cockerell 1924a: 275, 3 (holotype—3, “Okeanskaja, Siberia” [Vladivostok, Primorskiy Terr., Russia], 5.VIII.1923, leg. T. Cockerell [NMNH]).

Prosopis transversalis Gussakovskij 1932, 3 (holotype—3, Vladivostok: Sedanka [Primorskiy Terr., Russia] [Royal Natural History Museum, Stockholm]); Osytshnjuk & Romankova 1995: 487; Proshchalykin 2003b: 4. Syn. nov.

Prosopis sericata Warncke 1972: 748 (nom. nov. pro P. transversalis Gussakovskij 1932, nec Cockerell 1924a). Syn. nov.

Hylaeus nippon Hirashima 1977: 29 –32, Ƥ, 3 (holotype—Ƥ, Tsushima, Sumo, Japan). Synonymized by Osytshnjuk & Romankova 1995: 486.

Hylaeus sericatus: Quest 2009: 133; Proshchalykin & Quest 2009: 239.

Material examined: 56 Ƥ, 30 3. Russia. Primorskiy Terr. (Vladivostok, Gornotaezhnoe, Kamenushka, Ryazanovka, Lazovskiy Nature Reserve, Anisimovka, Lazo, 12 km NE Preobrazheniya, Spassk, Artem, Zanadvorovka, Novokachalinsk); Kuril Islands (Kunashir: Golovnino, Goryachee Lake).

Distribution in Russia. Primorskiy Terr., Kuril Islands (Kunashir).

General distribution. Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Tsushima), Asian part of Russia.
