Type deposition. D. gigantea: ZMMU (syntypes); D. outoensis: ZSM.

Type data. D. gigantea: ex Leopoldamys edwardsi [syn. Rattus grochovskii D. Tien (nomen nudum)], North Vietnam; D. outoensis: ex Berylmys bowersi (syn. Rattus bowersi latouchei), China.

Hosts. RODENTIA: Berylmys bowersi, Leopoldamys edwardsi, Niviventer confucianus, Rattus rattus.

Distribution. China, Vietnam.
