Type data. T. scutellaris: ex Microtus montebelli, Japan, Yamagata Prefecture, Yachi; T. scutellaris var. basoglabrosis: ex Rattus losea (syn. Rattus losea exiguus), China, Fujian Province, Fuzhou.

Remarks. I follow here the opinion of Wen (1984b) who referred to T. (L.) scutellaris var. basoglabrosis as a synonym of L. scutellare.
