Type data. S. vieta: ex Rattus tanezumi (syn. Rattus rattus diardii), Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur; S. maldiviensis: ex Calotes versicolor, Maldive Islands, Gan.

Hosts. RODENTIA: Bandicota bengalensis, B. indica, Callosciurus notatus, Rattus argentiventer, R. losea, R. norvegicus norvegicus, R. rattus, R. tanezumi, R. tiomanicus, Sundamys muelleri; CARNIVORA: Herpestes javanicus; SQUAMATA: Calotes versicolor, Mabuya sp.; AVES: Centropus sp.

Distribution. Burma, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldive Islands, Thailand.
