Type deposition. BMNH 1932.4.18.1.

Type data. Ex Maxomys surifer (syn. Rattus surifer surifer), Malaysia, Selangor State, Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve.

Hosts. RODENTIA: Bandicota indica, Leopoldamys sabanus, Maxomys rajah, M. surifer, M. whiteheadi, Menetes berdmorei, Niviventer niviventer, Rattus rattus, R. exulans, R. tanezumi; SCANDENTIA: Tupaia glis; CARNIVORA: Herpestes javanicus; ERINACEOMORPHA: Hylomys suillus.

Distribution. Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam.
