Type deposition. USNM.

Type data. Ex Leopoldamys edwardsi (syn. Rattus edwardsi edwardsi), Laos, Ban Theuong, 18 km NW Xieng Khouang.

Hosts. RODENTIA: Alticola roylei, Bandicota bengalensis, Dremomys rufigenis, Leopoldamys edwardsi, Mus musculus, Niviventer andersoni, N. niviventer, Rattus rattus, R. tanezumi; SCANDENTIA: Tupaia glis, T. belangeri chinensis; SORICOMORPHA: Suncus murinus.

Distribution. China, India, Laos, Thailand.
