Description

Rhabdophrya populiformis (Gassovsky, 1916)

Report as epibiont on bryozoas: It was observed as epibiont on bryozoan Caberea ellisii (Fleming, 1814) from Kola Bay of the Barents Sea (Gassovsky 1916; Kahl 1934). It was reported on bryozoans from the Barents Sea near Murmansk (Jankowski 2007).

Report as epibiont on other hosts: The species was reported as epibiont on hydroid Halecium sp. and isopod crustacean Idotea sp. collected in Kola Bay, Barents Sea (Gassovsky 1916; Kahl 1934).
