Description

Chironia angularis Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 190. 1753.

"Habitat in Virginia. Kalm." RCN: 1517.

Lectotype (Wilbur in Rhodora 57: 20. 1955): Kalm, Herb. Linn. No. 252.5 (LINN).

Current name: Sabatia angularis (L.) Pursh (Gentianaceae).
