Lectotype (de Wilde-Duyfjes in Meded. Landbouwhoogeschool 76-11: 108. 1976): [icon] " Ampeloprasson proliferum " in Plantin, Pl. Stirp. Icon.: 156. 1581 (see p. 148).
Current name: Allium carinatum L. (Liliaceae / Alliaceae).
Note: Stearn (in Herbertia 11: 17, f. 118, left. 1944) reproduces the cited Clusius plate.
