Lichen croceus Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 1149. 1753.
"Habitat in Lapponia, Helvetia, Groenlandia. terrestris." RCN: 8222.
Lectotype (Howe, Bull. Torrey Bot. Club. 39: 201. 1912): Herb. Linn. No. 1273.189 (LINN).
Current name: Solorina crocea (L.) Ach. (Peltigeraceae).
