Sibbaldia procumbens Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 284. 1753.

Lectotype (Barrie in Jarvis & al., Regnum Veg. 127: 88. 1993): Amman s.n., Herb. Linn. No. 401.1 (LINN).
Generitype of Sibbaldia Linnaeus (vide Hitchcock, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 144. 1929).
Current name: Sibbaldia procumbens L. (Rosaceae).
