Description
Pyrus malus Linnaeus var. sylvestris Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 479. 1753.
RCN: 3662.
Neotype (Langenfelds, Apple-trees: 186. 1991): Latvia. Dist. Madonensis, prope villula Grasi, Langenfelds 105 (RIG).
Current name: Malus sylvestris (L.) Mill. (Rosaceae).
