Description

Malaconothrus sp.

Geographic Location: AK: Aleutian Islands (Behan 1978a); Seward Peninsula, near to Cape Espenberg, 66°28′22″N, 163°56′56″W, greyish tephra from Aniakchak eruption (Blackford et al. 2014); BC: Vancouver Is., Walbran Valley (Lindo & Winchester 2006); MB: southeast (Oswald & Minty 1970); ON: Chalk River (Marshall 1972); QC: Gatineau Park (Pielou & Matthewman 1966); Morgan Arboretum (Marshall 1968); NB: Northeast of Ludlow, 46°33’N, 66°14’W (Pielou & Verma 1968); NS: Cape Breton Highlands NP (Behan-Pelletier 2010; Behan-Pelletier et al. 1987); NL: between Corner Brook and Little Grand Lake (Dwyer et al. 1997, 1998).

Genus Tyrphonothrus Knülle, 1957 (= Trimalaconothrus)
