Description

Nycteris macrotis Dobson, 1876

This species was previously recorded from Liberian Nimba (Wolton et al., 1982). During this survey, a single specimen was recorded in disturbed habitat adjacent to a settlement at 500 m a.s.l. on the Liberian side. Forearm and greatest skull lengths for this specimen (DM 12597) were 49.5 mm and 20.8 mm).
