Description

Hypostominae Kner 1853

Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus (Weber, 1991) [I]―[NE], Vermiculated sailfin catfish/-/Reported from Orontes River and Pinar- basi Stream, Eskişehir (Yalçin Özdilek 2007; Emiroglu et al. 2016).

Pterygoplichthys pardalis (Castelnau, 1855) [I]―[NE], Amazon sailfin catfish/-/Reported from Pinarbasi Stream, Eskisehir (Emiroglu et al. 2016). Remarks: Probably both of these reports are hybrids of Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus X Pterygoplichthys pardalis (see Emiroglu et al. 2016; Godwin et al. 2016).
